Welcome

The SCENE Music Festival is a one-day annual music event held in downtown St.Catharines, Ontario, Canada. There are litterally over a hundred bands spread out in the downtown area playing to mass crowds in open streets and in crammed bars. The acronym "SCENE" stands for St. Catharines Event for New Music Entertainment. If you ever get a chance to go to this amazing all day music festival you will not be dissapointed.

In the summer of 2007 I was lucky enough to see a band that I trully fell in love with.

The Hunter Valentine Fanlisting!

This fanlisting is dedicated to the Gritty all-girl rock trio for the heartbreakers and the heartbroken of the world. the Toronto girl-group threeway composed of brazen singer/guitarist Kiyomi McCloskey, manic drummer Laura Petracca and classically trained bassist (and self-proclaimed music geek) Adrienne Lloyd coasted through kicky riffs, basic rhythms and spitfire lyrics with ease. Like any worthwhile lasting crush, it took a couple beats for them to secure a stranglehold around your heart.

03/24/10 - WOW has is been well over a year and a half since I've updated this page!.. well a lot has been going on with the girls and excuse my lack of updates but I did have a baby almost 6 months ago, the girls had a bit of a hush hush year with whats going on and today I got a very nice birthday surprise, I'll tell you about that in a minute.

Well the Girls have moved state side in NYC, recording their new album "Lessons from the Late Night" with their new record lable Tommy Boy, the album is due out for April 17th and get this, I am so stoked to hear that my name is in the Thank-yous, how wicked cool is that, found that one out yesterday and today is my birthday, they do remember the little people :) totally made my night. The girls have a very busy month touring including a pond jump to Germany! and of course Two great places my hometown and FreakFans hometown (st. kitts and hamilton) so you will see us there!

So check out the new songs on the girls MySpace and don't forget if your a friend on Laura's Facebook you will see her live doing her kitchen cooking show, its so good.
